Well, it’s that time again. It’s the
season when the chefs at Grouse Mountain Lodge go all out in making a
completely homemade- 100% edible gingerbread house for decoration.
Set in the center of the lobby, the whole room is filled with the sweet
scent of gingerbread, as guests and visitors (young and old mind you) crane
their necks to see where they could just break off a small bite of the
deliciousness without anyone taking notice.
This year the gingerbread house
took a surprising yet pleasant turn as the staff decided to create a small
community of gingerbread cabins as opposed to a single home. I don’t know about
you guys, but I could live here.
The biggest hit so far has been the fire pit
(made out of Cheetos) and the tiny deer head hung by one of the cabin’s doors.
These are Montana cabins all right, make no mistake about it!
